The Band of the Royal Barbados
Police Force was established in 1889 with a compliment of 19
serving Policemen.
It was 32 years ago that the brilliant idea of commemmorating
the anniversary of settlement of Holetown was born.
It may be a feature whichoccurs all too rarely, but there is nothing to beat the
history lessons to be derived from a bus tour of OldeHoletown, the first town settled by the English in
Barbados.
